I was looking into my classmates Blogs and the one that caches my attentions was the article published in The American Voice blog "Draining the Swamp" by Caitlin Caputo. I will start congratulating  you for paying attention on the government and the people who are going to become our leaders. It is extremely important to pay attention on this since they are the ones who are going to impact our education, food choices, the climate reforms, economy, etc. The article in my opinion is incredible that after the election nobody sees to care about our country anymore, but some people like  Caitlin are still trying to tell the people to keep fighting for our government to do the right thing. Now, as Caitlin states, "'the swamp' seems to be getting dirtier" and nobody seems to care about Trump's decisions and the crazy ideas that his cabinet are bringing in.
I share all of your opinions except for one, and  I think that we should give him an opportunity since we don't have other option. There is always the impeachment to change the President. There will be a lot of changes that it will be impossible to change in a while like the Supreme Court Judge, the republican majority in congress, senate and indeed, the people in the cabinet. But we as a country and with no other options should came together and get united for the good of our country. We should support our president decisions and accepted.
Overall I loved your article for various reasons one of them is because you said things that everyone seems to have forgotten about. I like that you brought your own opinion and wasn't afraid of saying these things. Keep up and never be afraid of nothing. In Mexico we say this phase "when something is going to happen even if you try to avoid it will happen, and when something is not going to happen even if you try, it will no happen".
Merry Christmas to my family to yours!
happy holidays.

On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, The Wall Street Journal publish the article Mr. Trump, Meet the Constitution; where, the editorial board explains the way President-Elect Donald J. Trump understand, and how he wants to enforce the constitution. The editorial Board emphasis that Mr. Trump understands the Constitution poorly and influence other people to think as he does using social media. Throughout the article the authors give some examples of Trump commentaries especially the first amendment (Freedom of speech). I believe that it is very important that people read articles like this to get more involve on politics. The people on the United States should elect people who have well knowledge of the Constitution and the laws in general. If the person in charge wants to make changes it should benefit everyone not just the few.
President Elect Donald Trump wants to make a lot of unconstitutional changes like to take away the citizenship of children born in US of Illegal immigrants. Now, he wants to  take away some of our Freedoms of Speech. Donald J. Trump  has used social media to influence his followers to interpret the Constitutions poorly. The editorial board made a great job offering this article as opinion, so people can open their eyes and understand what kind of president they have elect. I want to mention that thanks to our founding father now we have the opportunity that our electoral college can make the right thing and choose the best fit to our Presidency. Since, the people who want to change this country is going to benefit a few instead of everyone.
In conclusion, this article may see insignificant to certain people but it is very important that people understand what the president- elect want to do during office. He does not understand our constitution and want to change it as he desired. I believe that the country we know is going to fall and the Freedom land that we once had is over.

Constructive Commentary
Hello Barsha Pokharel,
I read your article "The Student's Voice for their Tuition Fees", and I noticed that you are mentioning just the advantages of getting federal financial help; however, there are some disadvantages that are worth mentioning to make the article a little more informative. Examples of these disventanges are that it will increase the federal external debt, and it will make universities more competitive in their acceptance due to the high number of applicants.
I like that you mentioned the real life example of your friend who has struggle with the work, school and family. I understand her because I am going through the same situation. In addition, I liked that you provided facts to the article making it more persuasive. These facts can convince other people to support your arguments. Finally, I would say that I love your article, and I support your ideas. I also believe that it will be incredible to have a more educate country avoiding the struggle through college.
In conclusion, I will recommend to mention the disadvantages of the arguments and to try of minimizing their affect on the reader. I love the usage of the real life example and the facts provided. I hope this comment helps you in your future and I would like to thank you for your work.

As many people knows The Unites States of America is going through a rough financial crisis, and it is urgent that the President and the correspondent agencies take care of the debt by finding a solution. During the past years politicians haven't made anything to end the debt, and they had focused on healthcare and foreign policies that didn't make any contribution to the U.S. In fact, those policies had increased our debt up to 20 trillion dollars, and they had produced government shutdowns.
The national government on this election should focus more on the national debt. Let’s get a little honest and clear. The United States of America aren’t that powerful anymore and its budget should be wisely used. The congress should cut a lot of the military spending that is around 598 billion dollars, and the presidential candidates should be thinking on improve America not on spend 60 billion dollars on a wall that will be totally useless. Honestly, on this presidential race I have heard more candidates attacking each other and either of them present a plan of how they will improve America. This morning I was looking for any U.S. government article and what I found was “FBI investigates Hillary’s emails” or “Trump taxes are unclear”. I am not a genius as you can see, but I don’t need to be a genius to know that the U.S. is falling a part and nobody sees to care about it.
Politicians should end filibusting the citizens of the U.S. I believe it would be a great idea to cut military budget and invest on new jobs since the tax are the primarily source of income to the U.S government. Also they should focus on education with education it comes the advance and new minds will emerge. The companies now in days demand high skill workers, so we need a better education system that don’t get us in a debt for life.
In conclusion, The United States of American isn’t that powerful anymore other countries are advancing faster that we are, so we should cut military budget, avoid useless expenses like wall and to try to create we jobs by improving our infrastructure and healthcare fields. We need to get seriousness about our democracy because the representatives we get to choose aren’t the adequate they should care more about our country and less on attacking others.

On Friday, October 21, 2016, Cathleen Decker and Noah Bierman two political writers wrote the article "This election is much more than Trump vs. Clinton. It's old America vs. new America" at Los Angeles Times analyzing this presidential campaign full of contrasts. In the article both authors presented and analyzed each candidate's point of view to the needs of the county. Then, they described the two kind of Americans and who they support the most. The political writers of the Los Angeles Time political blog stated that people supported --"Republicans with older and white voters, and Democrats with younger, more culturally and racially diverse ones". Then, Decker and Bierman contrast each candidate with his/her strengths and weakness; presided, by voter's comments about both candidates. Finally, the authors pointed that we could be going under a political realignment when the mentioned "'the nation's demographic changes add to the urgency of recognizing how precarious our position has became' said the report by the Republican National Committee." They also reported their analysis and according to their reports Hillary Clinton emerged victorious.
Decker and Bierman are two prestigious political writers, there is a reason why they work for Los Angeles Times on of the biggest news cites along the nation. For his side Bierman is a graduate from duke who has been in the business of politics for a long time, and he also has worked for important newspaper around the country like The Boston Globe. Cathleen Decker is a veteran covering presidential campaigns as well as senator campaigns meaning tat she has a lot of experience analyzing political debates. The authors try to reach general public, they used general language meaning that they want everyone to understand and not to get bored. In addition, they try to inform all the public about the analysis of the debates by the point of view of two professionals. In general, I agree with the analysis of the authors. They are being objective and rational. They exposed the argument of both candidates and support their arguments with evidence, people opinions, and reports from the national Republican Committee.
In conclusion, the authors made an incredible work with this analysis. They presented facts and didn't picked a side just informing the audience with facts, reports and evidence. I agree with the authors analysis.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2016, The Editorial board at The New York Times published an article called " The Supreme Court Revisits Insider Trading" where they explains how insider trading is affecting the people and public justice. Insider Trading refers to the illegal practice of trading on the stock exchange to one's own advantage through having access to confidential information. The Editorial Board argues that the practice of insider trading is affecting the public by providing confidential information to relatives or special investors that will get substantial monetary or reputation benefits that later on they will shared them with the person who provided such information. The Editorial has incredible points to discuss; however, they should had presented more information about this important issue as well as deep inside it. The article is short, but it is full of important information and facts that get the reader straight to the point. The authors clearly publish this article to the general public hoping that the public put more emphasis on this issue that deals no only with finance crime but also with the Supreme Court if the judges leave this crime unpunished it will lead to bigger issues, the editorial board stated "absolving Mr. Salman would set precedent that would make the fight to stop illegal insider trading even harder". They keep the audience by providing the article with a real court case "Dirks v, S.E.D., the case provides the article with facts.
The argument  illegal insider trading that the editorial board is presenting is well supported with facts and with values such as Justice and Honesty. As they explained that inside trading is not well defined by the federal laws, they stated that courts have said that it is a crime for an insider to share confidential information to get benefits either money or reputational. This issue is important to the government or it should be the authors are putting The Supreme Court on the line questioning it if they can enforce justice or they will let Bassam Salman and Mr Kara unpunished
In conclusion, the Editorial Board  made a great work presenting this argument and backing the arguments with evidence like the court case and Salman's trial. it convinced me that we should do something in order to stop inside trading because on the 21st century and a country where we value honesty and justice these kind of illegal practices should be banned and Bassam Salman should be the example of it. it didn't changed any of my mind, but that last line really hit own my values "justice shall be done".

On Thursday, September 22, 2016, The Wall Street Journal published an article titled "Donald Trump Expands ‘Short List’ of Potential Supreme Court Picks". In this article written by Brent Kendall and Michelle Hackman the authors provided the list of judges who could became Supreme Court judges, if the republican candidate Donald Trump wins the White House. The authors began by creating a sense of Trump begin rational and at the same time a sense of begin human by including the candidate Sen. Mike Lee of Utah who hasn't endorsed Mr.Trump, and by including African American and Asian judges. Then, the authors continue naming the candidates and describing them giving their pros and cons. Then, Kendall and Hackman began to stated what other high government representatives thinks about Trumps' list, They stated "Sen. Lee said "Both lists that I've seen from the Trump campaign are fantastic.'" Finally, the authors of the article described the intentions of Mr.Trump with this list, they quoted "Mr.Trump said, " I will appoint justices, who like Justice Scalia, will protect our liberty with the highest regard for the constitution".
I will encourage people to read this kind of articles since it deals with who is the one who are going to appoint Supreme Court judges. They are the ones who make the most important decisions of the country speaking about laws.   This kind of articles provided us with important pros and cons of the suggested judges. It is important to choose the one who take care of our interests.
